Posted on May 17, 2011 at 09:45Talked to ST tech support, They told me to add another latch to ad8-ad15 even in 8-bit multiplex mode, so I did. Now it still writes two bytes 10 hex apart, but not the other 2, 100 hex from the first 2. I scoped the WR and ALE lines and there are 2 distinct back to back accesses each time a write is made. The EMI registers are set up correctly according to ST tech support, and I am using STRB byte store assembly commands. Has anyone any expereince with external 8-bit SRAM interfacing?? ST tech support has stopped answering me. Please help!
