hi everyone,

i am using:

- hitop (5.20.322) for str9-comstick

- arm-hitex-elf-gcc-4.0.3

- str9 comStick

i've done:

- reinstall all drivers (comstick was detect by windows xp)

- reinstall hitop

- tried different usb connectors/ports

the errormessage:

FlashCW_10

An error detected while flash programming: the flash algorithm did not run properly in target. this could happen due to the following reasons:

-the specified RAM space is not accessible.

-wrong JTAG settings.Load Target Code

so, i hope somebody could help me and sorry for my terrible english.

Hello ,everyone.

I am a novice in flash use.

I plan to use a 2M flash to store my data , then FPGA read the data written in the flash. The problem is what tools and software i need to use? How about using jtag to download the data sheet. How could I write the data into the flash?

Can someone help me? Thanks very much.

Hi linus_van_pelt,

I had exactly the same problem and I solved it.

For some reason flash sectors are protected.

You can unprotect them using OpenOCD (I compiled latest svn version using cygwin under WinXp).

If you need specific help let me know.

Dear dariovecchio,

I also encountered this problem recently. May i know how to solve it using Open OCD or other methods?

Thanks

Best Regards,

Hi,

Was there ever a reply from dariovecchio regarding this problem? How did you solve it?
