Serial Wire Debug with 2 Controllers

I've not seen any mention of SWD cascade in the literature. Fear the common connection of SWDIO, SWCLK seems ok. Perhaps a similar request to IAR will shed light.

Should the answer be no - believe it simplest/lowest cost to implement a SWDIO spdt switch - using a small shunt. This yields the case in which - temporarily - only one STM32 is programmed - should there be any data interconnects this may be problematic.

Probably safest if you power down prior to moving the shunt from STM32 #1 to #2.

We are designing a board with two STM32 controllers on it.

We would like to use Serial Wire Debug (SWD) interface for debugging.

Is it possible to connect both controlles with one J-Link adapter (at the same time)? ->Connect SWCLK and SWDIO of both controllers together on one connector.

Haven't found help on that issue in documentation.

Thanks for any help.
