Bootloader in Connectivity-Line

Last weeks i've got a few STM32F105 and F107 controllers. No bootloader ist working inside these devices (Rev. Z). No UART1, UART2 or USB-bootloader port is working. I've tried with different crystals, 8MHz, 25MHz. No response from controller. The circuit i've used is working perfect with ST32F103 and UART-bootloader.

What is wrong? Must i change the circuit? Is the bootloader buggy?

Any news on that? I have the same problem. I am using the ST Flash Loader Demo 2.0 on UART2, remaped as discribed in the AN.

BOOT0 = 1

BOOT1 = 0

I am currently using CPU STM32F107, Ref. Z.

Check your datecode, below 923 and above 951 the bootloader doen't work.

Are you serious? They delivered working pieces only in that small time window?

I have read the errata and added pull-ups for PA10, PB5, PA11 and PA12 but USART2 will still not work on my STM32F107VC marked Z, 923. Are this errata really valid for my chip? I'm using the same setup as on my STM32F103R8 board except for usart port.

Dear all,

We have just released a New Errata-sheet version 2 for STM32F105xx and STM32F107xx connectivity line devices with this new items :

1) I2S2 in master/slave mode and Ethernet/USART3 in

synchronous mode limitation added.

2) USB OTG_FS limitations added.

3) Ethernet MAC limitations added.

4) Boot loader unavailability on STM32F105xx and STM32F107xx devices with

a date code below 937 limitation added.

Here is the link :

Sorry, as usual a couply of minutes after writing on the forum the stuff starts to work...

I can confirm that the work around for USART2 works for STM32F107VC 923.
