Posted on May 17, 2011 at 09:57Currently, I am having difficulty running a program on the STR912FA processor after I set the security bit using JLink.exe program provided by IAR.
Here is the procedure I use:
1) I load the program using the IAR Embedded Workbench IDE, and start it running. This is a simple ''LED'' scan program.
2) I then stop debugging, which allows the program to continue running without the debug session.
3) I then run the program JLINK.exe, which halts the program and allows me to set the security bit using the ''secure'' command.
4) I then quit JLINK.exe
5) At that point, the program is locked up. I can see that that reset line goes low and then high when I press the reset button, but the program appears to be locked up.
Any idea why I am unable to run a program with the STR912 Security Bit set? I must be forgetting something.
