V_DDA voltage and current consumption

I am migrating from a 5V processor to this STM32 running at 3v3. Unfortunately our sensors require a 5V power supply. Is it better for me to supply the V_DDA pin on the processor with power from the 5v regulator (pulled down to 3.3v through a resistor) or run the digital V_DD to the V_DDA pin with some extra noise filtration. I do no require greater than 10 bits of ADC accuracy.

If I choose the former option of using the 5V regulator power on V_DDA does anyone know how much current this pin draws? Will it vary much? If the current draw varies, I may have some problems with a resistor in there causing a voltage swing.

Thanks in advance.
