Posted on May 17, 2011 at 13:19Can anyone tell me, does the C-SPY simulator simulate any external crystal I might have on my board? I know the stm32f10x_conf.h file has a ''#define HSE_Value'' line, but does the simulator actually simulate the external crystal. I don't think so because when I call the function ''RCC_WaitForHSEStartUp()'', it always comes back with ''ERROR''. On the other hand, why bother with a ''#define HSE_Value'' if you're not going to use it?
