Dear Neil,

We have observed that certain users can have issue to read ''chm'' files.

It seems that for unknown reason these users (according to their PC windows configuration security maybe ? ) are seeing the ''chm'' file as ''locked''.

The solution is to ''unlock'' in the file ''properties'' general menu. This unlock button is displayed after ''attributes'' when the problem is present else it is not displayed at all...

Cheers

''We will investigate the issue of CHM files under Win7''

It may or may not actually be related to Win7...

''regarding, the links references in our forums. That behavior will be

Excellent!

''Please post your comments there, we are pleased to listen to your enhancement's comments.''

I'll take a look...

I followed that link: I found 2 sub-sections, but nothing (obviously) about forum feedback.

Can you be more specific?

Hi,

There are two separate discussions :

  • ''Forum related Functionality issues'' discussion :  related to issues with existing features
  • ''General comments and feedback'' discussion  : Related to general comments & feedbacks like enhancements or new features.
It is true that some posts linked to products are not to be there.

Many thanks in advance for your comments.

Cheers,

STOne-32.

Just FYI, chm files cant be viewed if they are installed on a network drive.  There is a registry path that allows them to be viewed if needed.  Heaps of information on the ''Help and Manual'' website about chm files.

Would you care to revise that estimate - we are now nearly 3 months on, and no sign of any change...
