Hello,

I think it is not possible.

When you look for TIM1 diagran in chapter 13 in RM0008 document, you can see that CH1N and CH2N are only outputs. Encoder interface are from TI1FP1 and TI2FP2 which are connected through filter to CH1 and CH2 inputs.
