Missing file in new 3.4.0 libraries? system_stm32f10x.c...

That file has moved to the project/application folder.

Just grab one from one of the examples.

It did confuse me little too, before I saw that it moved 🙂

Ok, thank you the answer.

Anyway, I don't think it is a smart thing to move that file in the examples folders...STM should reconsider this.

system_stm32f10x.c was also in the examples in v3.3.0

It contains code that needs to be customised for the specific application - so it makes sense for it not to be in the Library!

Well, the fact is that in the file we're talking about there are some functions which are quite ''general'' and, IMHO, don't need to be modified (essentially those present in the header counterpart). This is why I'm dubious about this change.

Anyway this is my personal opinion, like the one you've reported here below 🙂
