I want to use the RS232 example so I can figure out how to give variables to the kit and read the response but I don't have STM8S-discovery.ht.  Where do I get it?

Hi Charles,

''.ht'' is a hyperterminal extension.  You need just  to open hyperterminal and configure it.

(that depends on the example config: baudrate, data length,...).

''You need just  to open hyperterminal...''

Or any other terminal program that you may happen to have and/or prefer.

There is nothing special or magic about hyperterminal!
