Is there really no such register?

There is and it is listed in section 33.2 of rev 4 of the document. But it is wrong.

The document claims that it is 0x1FFF 7A10, but that is the same as the unique id.

My FAE claims that it is a 16 bit value located at 0x1FFF 7A22.

All the die current shipping for the 205 have 1MB of flash, I've tested a number of parts marked as only having 256KB where all 1MB appears to be reasonably viable.

The 215 parts are only sold as 512KB and 1MB, again no doubt sharing an encryption enabled die.
