We are looking for a new wifi module. And was thinking of using the SPWF04SA from ST.

But now I can see that ST has chosen another wifi module for their STM32L4 Discovery kit IoT node.

Does anyone have an Idea why they have chosen an Inventek module instead of ST's own module?

(Our application has to be able to connect to a cloud services maybe aws or azure.)

looking forward for you inputs.

Best regards and thanks..

The

SPWF04S wasn't generally available, I got the L4 IoT board a long time before the WiFi module. We have been working on Micro Python on the IoT board.
