Imen,

thanks.

May I ask you to forward to the documentation team also my request to arrange in all DISCO UMs the pinout table in the way it is done now in the 'F4DISCO's UM1472rev.6, i.e. for each pin having listed its alternative functions (including analog and other non-matrix), pin number on the chip used on the DISCO, function on DISCO, position on any DISCO connector, and any SB or jumper relevant to that pin.

Thanks again,

Jan

I see UM1879 is in rev.4 now, with the correction as above.

Pity a complete pinout table (as in the F4 DISCO, as I mentioned above) did not make it into UM1879.

I see the following statement in the 'product marking' chapter:

This board features a specific STM32 device version, which allows the operation of any

bundled commercial stack/library available. This STM32 device shows a 'U' marking option

at the end of the standard part number and is not available for sales.

In order to use the same commercial stack in his application, a developer may need to

purchase a part number specific to this stack/library. The price of those part numbers

includes the stack/library royalties.

Is there a list of such commercial stacks? Any links?

(Yes I checked my L4 Disco and yes, the U suffix is there 🙂 )

Also, under Development toolchains, there's Keil, IAR, AC6 and mbed. No Atollic? Strange.
