STM8, Eclipse and Linux

I think I know the answer to this, but I just wanted to verify.  I have several different processors which we have in our products, and I am currently using Eclipse with GDB server on Ubuntu Linux for every other development setup.  I would like to use Eclipse with the Cosmic compiler (or Raisonance compiler) and GDB server for debugging on the same Linux host.  I have seen notes on how to use the Cosmic compiler with Eclipse, but I haven't seen verification as to whether the compiler runs under Linux or whether GDB server knows how to talk to the ST-Link JTAG emulator.  Does anyone have an answer?

Thanks,

Bryan

Hello,

we do have Linux versions of all our compilers, but there's no free package available under Linux. As for the debugger, ours (Cosmic) is not ported under Linux: as for other debuggers, I would not know.
