Hi,

Looking at the data sheet of the STM32F407X, I can't find what pin number the TIM2_CH1 maps to. Please help. Thanks

PA0, PA5 or PA15

Described in at least two places the 40X manual DM00037051

The pins you pointed out are for TIM2_CH1_ETR. I thought they have different function than the TIM2_CH1 pin. Please clarify. Thanks

TIM2_CH1_ETR is TIM2_CH1 and TIM2_ETR

TIM2_ETR is an input, so you'd use it while not using TIM2_CH1 as an output.
