Why does Nucleo 64 not have the sound ouput module I2S DAC as extenstion board?

Nucleo 64 is really comfortable for audio eval project.

Why didn't ST add the I2S extension eval board?

ST added some code for I2S DAC but didn't create the module. It is strange!

I am talking about the CS43L22 module as extension board.

The external amplifier is also a good idea. Even at least 4watt 4 Ohm

Others are quite happy that the Nucleo boards do NOT contain all sorts of periphery, hooking-up pins and obstructing all other usages.

See the F429 discovery as example of the ''opposite end'' ...

Nucleo 64 have all periphery to drive the audio output codec.

I attached the external codec for the nucleo and write code for them.

Seems that marketing ST guys looks stupid and lose some market.

You do seem to have this odd perspective that your needs encompass some huge untapped market. ST has put codecs on other boards targeting such applications, ST does not make the codec in question. It is perhaps stupider to chase low margin, low volume, niches with poor ROI.
