BOOT0 direct connection to GND?

Hi all,

I just received my new layout based on STM32F2 and I can't upload via SWD (Vlink V2).

Always the same mistake : Can't reset the core...

I checked VCAP1 & 2 at 1.2V and all SWD lines.

But perhaps I made a mistake : in older layouts, BOOT0 was pulled down by a 10K resistor, but in this new version, BOOT0 is direct to GND.

Is it a problem?

Thanks in advance 😉

Is it a problem?

Well it will clearly make it difficult to do any other signs of life testing.

Do you have NRST connected to your debug interface? What is the logic state of this pin?

Tips, buy me a coffee, or three.. PayPal Venmo Up vote any posts that you find helpful, it shows what's working..

Thanks Clive!

Using the internal pull up on NRST, I didn't connect this pin.

I modified BOOT0 pin to add a 17,5K resistor. Will it be enough?

(I checked : it was possible to connect to STM32 with ST-LINK utility with HOT PLUG mode).

Tx again!!
