I have a big problem ....

I accidentally destroyed the development board STM3240G ...

some colleagues were working with the STM3240G, I wanted to ask if projects (examples of STM32F4xx_DSP_StdPeriph_Lib_V1.0.0 just changed) are compatible with the development board STM32F4-Discovery?

They are tailored to the STM324xG-EVAL board, and the USB examples to the EVAL series in general, via the board support packages in the Utilities\STM32_EVAL directories.

This does not preclude you from porting them to the DISCOVERY series boards, and you would then need to add the appropriate interfaces.

The readme.txt files generally convey details about the example's expectations.

The F4 Discovery board has different board hardware devices and therefore different dedicated pin assignments. Download the User Manual for details.

I haven't looked at all the Standard Peripheral Library examples, but I suspect most can be adapted to the F4 Discovery. Success at adapting the development board examples depends on having common hardware.

Cheers, Hal

Edit: Hmmmm. Clive1 and I seem to be taking breaks from our real lives at the same time. At least you get two flavors with similar advice.

thanks for all the advice! 🙂

I tried an example to transmit data with the USART, but have not found anything!

I just need to pass a string to hyperterminal, I do not need to receive a reply from the terminal.

you can show me an example for STM32f4 discovery?

I've posted a whole lot of examples
