I work on a

STM32F207

with a

USB stack

provided by

ST (

V2.1).

I want to use

USB

to exchange information

with a smartphone

on

android.

The smartphone is

slave, and

the microcontroller

STM32F2xx

on an electronic board

is

host.

From

Android

V4 (ICS)

,

the

AOA

protocol

(Android

Open

Acessory

) allows

to interact with

smartphone.

Do you know if

STMicroelectronics

plans to

implement

the new

protocol

in the

standard

USB stack

?

Thank you

I don't know, are you a $1M customer? ST's development efforts are usually business driven, the forum is mostly users (commercial, student, hobby, etc.)

You could consult with commercial stack vendors, or find/become an open source developer.
