LED2000 circuit parameter measurement

I have built up a prototype board of a 2A white LED driver using the LED2000 step down converter with a single LiIon battery as the power source.

Everything seems to be working as it should, but I would like to test the circuit more thoroughly to make sure that the design is robust.

Would anyone have any pointers on how to test the circuit, what parameters to measure, and what warning signs to look for that may indicate that something is not functioning optimally?

Thanks, Dave

Hi Dave,

if you have a DC coupled Current Probe you can monitor Inductor Current to check if it is not working in saturation region, also you can check the switching pin with voltage probe just to see a perfect waveform and measure the right switching frequency.

Let me know...
