Detect connection of signal to pin

Hello, is there a way to detect connection of some signal to pin (recognize if pin is connected to some signal or if pin is unconnected).

Well you can pull it in the opposite direction of the expected static state of a connected pin, and watch it change. You can connect specific pins to timers. You can connect a selection of pins to the EXTI peripheral.
