Hi, I am not sure if it's an proper question to ask here, but I ask it here anyway.

I've got some lovely tiny STM32F070F6P6 (with THIS package information on mcu) from china distributor.

Custom boards are made, chips are mounted.

When I start the ST-Link utility, it gives the following message:

0690X00000602U2QAI.bmp

Is this normal?

Or it's just a cloned F070, but with more functions like F04x?!

I should remark that this presumed F070 is currently running a USB CDC function without any problem.

I've just received my new

STM32F070F6P6 from MOUSER ...

Surprisingly the device ID is still 0x445 which means it's a F04x device.

I try to build some project for F040 and initialize some peripherals which don't exist in F030, (like I2S),

amazingly, it's working!!??

What can I do about this?

ST has been know to ship parts with more advanced die than the marking would suggest. If the F04x is a super-set of the F070 then that is a possibility.
