Phase Counting mode

I'm looking for a count mode in a stm32 controller that counts up and down, depending on a input signal which is low or  high. 

I have seen this mode in a Renesas Controller (RX210), it is called: Phase Counting mode 2.

No such in hardware in STM32's TIM timers.
