Posted on June 26, 2017 at 14:37Hi, I'm trying to design an LED driver using L6599 and L6533 (boost then LLC) stages, I'd like to know if I can use a 300Hz PWM on the STBY pin of 6599 to drive the output in a PWM dimming control? The datasheet doesn't specify the minimum time to come out of STBY low state for the chip. Note that I don't mean to put it in sleep so that it has to soft start, I just want to use the burst mode to my advantage. I'm thinking of synchronously having a shunt MOSFET to drain the low energy current when I've disabled the 6599. Thank you
