I connected the +5v pin to the ground pin by mistake

i have stm32l152c- discovery board. i connected the 

+5v pin to the ground pin and now it seems work on very low power mode and ld1 not lit up and ld2 , ld3 and ld4 lit up very weak. pc not recognize the board. what can i do?

By my mistake  i gave you wrong information   about  152 NUCLEO i have in my desk and Not for discovery board!!

In discovery case  I just checked the schematic  and the most posible is to have malfuction is the D1 diode.

Hello

Check your PC usb ports if work normaly.

Remove JP5 and see if your  computer recognizes the stlink

If not,  check D2 shotky diode

In case is not working (D2) you did not just touch the +5v pin to ground.

replace it  (can use temporarily an ordinary silicon diode) and see if the stlink works.

I forgot to write that you have also the option to feed the board from VIN  pin. Read the manual about the voltage you must provide.

thanks bro, i got problem is circuit protection when you mentioned D2!

i replaced D1 and the board is healthy now!:D
