Hi

I am trying to debug with the IDB007V1 dvelopment board and a STLINK V2 but the debug process fails at the FLASH download.

I have tried the sensor and hello world demonstration programs with the same result.

Any help to start debugging would be appreciated!

Hi,

I want to run debug, not just program. How do I do that?

Thanks

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

could you use an alternative as toolchain? For example IAR Embedded Workbench which has also a 30 days free trial option?

Regards

Andrea

I had this problem too with latest version of TrueStudio.

I just ended up using another solution for build and flash...

So there is no easy way, for now, to evaluate these modules for beginners.

Frederic,

Can you explain the procedure you applied to be able to work on this EVAL board ?

For what I saw, the Atollic toolchain could be the cause, the Keil one is OK but limited in its trial version.

Sorry, haven't seen the notification until I login again.

I had a solution working with STEVAL-BLUEMIC-1.

I don't remember exactly, but it was probably a command line based solution, with some raw gcc + openocd.

I could try to find it again if you're interested again.

BlueNRG is a beautiful IC. So bad development support and bt stack is not up to it yet...

Hi, you can debug in 'Eclipse like IDEs' after you properly configure your project settings. In original eclipse I'm able to debug with ARM MCU plugin for Eclipse and using OpenOCD.exe compiled by ST + use configurations file for openocd also from ST... You can find everything in 'BlueNRG-1_2 DK 2.6.0'.
