Can STM32 ST-LINK Utility connect to ST-LINK server?

Hello,

Can ST-LINK Utility (STSW-LINK004) connect to ST-LINK server (ST-LINK-SERVER)?

I'd like to use ST-LINK Utility SWO Viewer while debugging session with SW4STM32.

My SW4STM32 connects to the server (TCP port 7184 on localhost) and it works fine, but I don't know how to 'force' ST-LINK Utility to do the same.

Right now the ST-Link Utility connects directly to the ST-Link  board and 'locks' it exclusively so debug is not possible while SWO is monitored.

If possible - how to configure this? Any help highly appreciated.

I'm using ST-Link Utility 4.1.0 and stlink-server v1.0.1-7-gccd6178-dirty (2017-08-31-14:15) under Win7, and Discovery and Nucleo boards with firmware version V2J29M18.

Thank you

  Grzegorz
