Hello

Is it safe to connect board to two galvanic isolated units? Power selection jumper (CN3) set to USBHS, USB ST_LINK cable connected to Notebook1, USB HS cable connected to Notebook2. Both notebooks work on batteries.

Will there be a conflict?

Thank you

regards

There should be no conflict regardless even if you connected the chargers to the notebooks or even if you use separate desktop computers. The devices will, of course, share the same ground when connected but the discovery board has an on-board USB Vbus power regulator while the STLink does not provide power to the target board.

In retrospect, I don't understand why would you use separate notebooks. You can connect the STLink and power the board from the same notebook.

Thank you!

Two notebooks required for debug only.
