The CubeMX Tool isn't working with MAC

The CubeMX, and associated Flash programming tool doesn't want to install with the latest version of OSX (High Sierra).  Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong...?

open a terminal window and execute the following command

sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine

<whatever the path to your installer is>

st chooses not to sign their installer

JAVA version is Version 8 Update 171
