Can I have a PWM 5V logic signal coming into L9907?

The L9907 datasheet states that I/O is 3.3V logic compatible.  It also states that I/O pins can withstand voltages up to 35V in the 'Absolute Maximum Ratings' section on page 17.  I was wondering if it were wise to have a PWM 5V logic signal coming into the L9907 3-Phase Gate Driver interfacing with 5V PWM from MCU.

For some reason, the last sentence wasn't finished for some reason:  'I was wondering if it were wise to have a PWM 5V logic signal coming into the gate driver.'

The reason I ask whether a 5V logic signal will be permissible is because the 35V rating is for an absolute maximum value and is not specified as a recommended operating condition.  Sorry if this is a silly question.

Hello Tom,

no problem in having 5V signal to L9907 logic input.

Best regards
