I have a schematic by someones design using part # MC34063ABD and I wanted to know if it is operating in current mode regulation ?
The part is powering 20 Leds 4 per string and 5 strings.
On pin 5 of chip there is zero volts all the time.
Problem is when a led string burns out the output voltage changes higher.
Attached is schematic of current original topology picture 1481,the other picture schematic 1483
is what I implemented to correct somewhat a out of control higher voltages.
