STM32L432KC - I2C1 Not Working

Hello,

My team and I have been having troubles using the HAL drivers with I2C1. We are attempting to use PA9 and PA10 as our I2C1_SDA and SCL pins, but noticed that PB5 and PB6 are also listed as I2C1_SDA and SCL pins. Currently, when we try to test the I2C we dont see any activity on the SCL line, which makes us think that by default it is trying to use PB5 and 6, which we are using as UART. Is there a register we have to write to in order to make sure the board know we want PA9 and PA10 to be used? We know that the hardware for PA9 and 10 is correct, because using MBED we were able to send messages over I2C successfully.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Ethan
