Hi,

I saw on SMSC's site that their ISA Super I/O chips have been obsoleted. Is it an SMSC Super I/O chip the VEGABD? An obsoleted one? Who's remaining with ISA Super I/Os that will live another couple of years?

Felix

Hi,

an update on this topic. I received the word from SMSC about another 5 years of availability for the FDC37B782QFP. No more an issue. I asked the same question to Winbond. I'll keep you guys posted when I get an answer.

Now when is the Vega arriving? (better laugh than cry)
