Join STMicroelectronics at this year's Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) Silicon Valley 2016.  Whether it's embedded hardware design or the Internet of Things (IoT), ESC Silicon Valley showcases emerging trends and innovations that will set the tone for the embedded systems industry in 2017 and beyond. With thousands of attendees, nearly 100 leading exhibitors, and numerous speakers set to meet face-to-face, ESC Silicon Valley is back at the San Jose Convention Center and is a must attend opportunity for embedded systems professionals to accelerate industry knowledge and network.  Register for a free pass to the show here.

STMicroelectronics demonstrations scheduled to present ESC 2016 in booth 1527 to include:
STM32H7 Series of High-performance MCUs with ARM® Cortex®-M7 Core - Taking advantage of an L1 cache, STM32H7 devices deliver the maximum theoretical performance of the Cortex-M7 core, regardless if code is executed from embedded Flash or external memory: 2010 CoreMark /856 DMIPS at 400 MHz fCPU.

STM32L0 and LoRa - The STM32 Nucleo pack for LoRaTMtechnology and high-performance FSK/OOK RF transceiver modem (P-NUCLEO-LRWAN1) is a development tool to learn and develop solutions based on LoRa?and/or FSK/OOK technologies.

IoT Security - ST offers a full ecosystem with ready-to-use turnkey solutions to ensure device identity, systems and network integrity, for customers cautious about their brand, or willing to rely on a safe and secure IoT.

STM32 Ecosystem - With STM32Cube, STMicroelectronics provides a comprehensive software tool, significantly reducing development efforts, time and cost.

Technical Sessions
Wednesday, December 7, 2016
Room 211AC; CLASSROOM: 54

Embedded Security Considerations
10:00-10:45 AM

How to develop and maintain a secure product that can stand up to the threats of today, and be most prepared for the future?

In this session we'll explore how security solutions are developed, implemented and sustained, in production and thereafter. We'll cover threats, implementation-techniques, over-the-air updates, secure provisioning, tamper detection and access control.

Mechanisms for Trusted Code Execution
11:00 - 11:45 AM

A quintessential requirement for any connected device is its trustworthiness. Code integrity is an essential piece of the puzzle and we'll focus on some techniques for protecting code and establishing a secure platform to run applications.

STM32 IoT Discovery
Time: 2 - 4:45 PM

By popular demand, we are again hosting with limited seating STM32 Hands on Seminar- Simplifying Cloud Connectivity for Embedded Devices.  If you missed this session at the ST Developers Conference or at ARM Techcon in October, this is your last chance in 2016.

This unique, engaging seminar format combines theory and hands-on exercises using deep technical content. At the seminar, meet with ST Technical specialists and marketing staff and get an inside view of STM32 microcontroller.

The workshop will use an 'out of the box' ready STM32 IoT board to demonstrate how simple it is to connect to the cloud and enable you to start exploring your own innovative IoT ideas! The board features wireless connectivity and an array of sensors showcasing our cloud connectivity features.

The hands on seminar is a working session - please bring your laptop either a Windows® Laptop (Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10) or MacBook running Windows (Parallels, VM Fusion, etc.). We will provide the required STM32 development boards and software.

Note: Administrator rights is needed for software and driver installation.

An IOS or Android mobiles device supporting Bluetooth Low Energy is also required for some of the hands-on exercises.

SPACE IS LIMITED TO 80 PEOPLE FOR THIS SESSION
