Node-RED is a visual tool that you can use to develop your applications, devices, and gateways on IBM Watson IoT Platform. Node-RED provides capabilities for connecting hardware devices, APIs, and online services. Node-RED Dashboard module allows you to very easily add a (very nice) graphic interface to a Node-RED project. The Dashboard can be used for x-Nucleo sensors monitoring.  

 

1. The following code shows how to connect through Wifi to IBM MQTT cloud :

https://os.mbed.com/users/Hamdi/code/MEMS_MQTT_IBM/

You should export this code to your Mbed Compiler. You shoud also select the nucleo F401Re as board for this project.

Compile the code, you can now load the compiled code onto your Nucleo board by saving the newly created binary file to your Nucleo drive. 

You will be able to test your connection with IBM QuickStart.  Within a terminal emulator such as “Tera Term” you can use the given object ID or the web link to connect to IBM Quick start.
