Cloud vibration monitoring is emerging as an application that includes two technologies. High performance instruments that monitor machine for maintenance and wireless communication which allows sending data to cloud for monitoring, analyzing and classification.
The main goal of this lab is to detect vibrations signatures in electrical motor based on MEMS sensors outputs. The vibrations signal measured with an 3-axis MEMS sensor : LSM303AGR accelerometer ±2/±4/±8/±16 g. FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) analysis was performed on STM32 microcontroller using data from accelerometer to find frequency components of a signal buried in a noisy time domain signal.
FP-CLD-WATSON1 is an STM32 ODE function pack. It can connect IoT node based on STM32 Nucleo to IBM Watson IoT, transmit sensor data and receive commands from remote applications.
This hands on workshop allows participants, students from CIM club at Insat to start their own projects on monitoring and diagnostic via Cloud.
