PlatformIO STM32 dev/platform v4.0: offline builder for ARM mbed, STM32Cube, Arduino

The PlatformIO Team is pleased to announce the release of ST STM32 development platform 4.0    . This release introduces many new features and performance improvements. The notable changes are as follows:

 

  • "1-click" debugging using  BlackMagic, J-Link and ST-Link tools
  • Add generic F103VET and F103VCT boards
  • Add CMSIS support for BluePill F103C8
  • Refactor STM32duino for F1 boards
  • Allow overriding PROGNAME (custom firmware name)
  • Update support for Arduino framework for MXChip board
  • Update tool-stlink to 1.4.0
  • Update STM32Cube and mbed frameworks

 

Integration with the most popular IDE (Cloud9, Codeanywhere, Eclipse Che, Atom, CLion, CodeBlocks, Eclipse, Emacs, NetBeans, Qt Creator, Sublime Text, Vim, Visual Studio, VSCode)
