The ECM on my 1987 Ford Bronco has a TO-220 component labelled "SGS 28710 5101FG". I cannot find any information on waht this is. Is there a description or datasheet available? I need to replace this component with a current equivalent.
Thank you, Erwan. I will de-solder the suspect component (and a known good component with the same part code) and test them. If this on is bad, as I suspect, then I will know which part to use as a replacement. Thanks again!
We are using Fairchild Semiconductor KA3100D IC SOP-16 SMD Package in our medical products with annual consumption of 1000. Currently this IC is EOL now (Year 2008) But since it is used in regular production, we need 1:1 pin compatible STM equivalent for same. Kindly let us know for alternative. Seems more like a job for your parts engineer, when something has been EOL for close to a decade you might have to consider a board spin to use currently available and cost effective parts. The volume is so low it's hard to expect much support from external staff. http://www.ie.itcr.ac.cr/rsoto/hojas%20de%20datos/Fairchild/analog_xref.pdf …
